Description
GRIT is a collaborative initiative between the YWCA Lewiston – Clarkston and the valley’s leading educational institutions, Lewis-Clark State College (LCSC) and Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) Clarkston campus. The program aims to empower young women, grades 9 through 12, from Lewiston High School and Clarkston High School, by providing them with hands-on workshops and opportunities in trade-related fields.
Workshops and Activities
Through collaborative efforts with LCSC and WWCC Clarkston, GRIT offers workshops and activities designed to introduce participants to various trades and non-traditional career paths. These workshops provide hands-on experiences and mentorship opportunities, encouraging and empowering young women to explore and excel in traditionally male-dominated fields.
Thank you to Lewis-Clark State College and Walla Walla Community College – Clarkston for their collaboration on this fantastic event!
