GRIT

Description
GRIT is a collaborative initiative between the YWCA Lewiston – Clarkston and leading educational institutions, Lewis Clark State College (LCSC) and Walla Walla Community College (WWCC) Clarkston campus. The program aims to empower young women from Lewiston High School and Clarkston High School, grades 9th-12th, by providing them with hands-on workshops and opportunities in trade-related fields.

Participants
Young women from Lewiston High School and Clarkston High School, grades 9th-12th, actively participate in the GRIT experience.

 

Workshops and Activities
Through collaborative efforts with LCSC and WWCC Clarkston campus, GRIT offers workshops and activities designed to introduce participants to various trades and non-traditional career paths. These workshops provide hands-on experiences and mentorship opportunities, empowering young women to explore and excel in traditionally male-dominated fields.
